Refunds & Returns Policy

We take great pride in our floral designs and the freshness of our flowers. Because flowers are a perishable product and custom-designed for each order, our refund and return policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business.

 

Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Due to the need to pre-order flowers and supplies, no refunds are available once the ticket is purchased. 
  • Cancellations with 48+ hours’ notice will receive shop credit valid for future workshops only
    Same-day cancellations or no-shows will receive no credit or refunds.
  • Ticket transfers are allowed with advance notice.

 

Everyday Floral Orders

  • Freshness Guarantee: We guarantee our flowers will be fresh and beautiful upon delivery or pickup.

  • Concerns Upon Delivery: If there are any issues with your flowers, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo so we can assess the situation.

  • Replacements/Refunds: If flowers arrive damaged or not as described, we are happy to provide a replacement or store credit. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Change of Mind: Because all orders are custom-made, we cannot offer refunds or returns for a change of mind after your order has been prepared.

 

Wedding & Event Orders

 

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

The client acknowledges that this is a custom floral order. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email, mailed letter, or hand-delivered notice.

  • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the event:
    All payments will be refunded except the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made 30–60 days before the event:
    A 50% refund of the total amount paid will be issued (deposit excluded).

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event:
    No refunds will be issued.

In the rare event that the florist is unable to fulfill services due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided.

 

RESCHEDULING:

Rescheduling is considered a cancellation. If you request to reschedule less than 60 days prior to your wedding date, refunds will be determined according to the cancellation policy above.

If you need to reschedule more than 60 days before your original date, we are happy to accommodate your request if the new date is available on our calendar.

  • If the date is available, a rescheduling fee of 30% of your contract total will apply. Your wedding florals will be repriced at current market rates.
  • If the requested date is not available, all payments will be refunded except for the non-refundable retainer deposit, as outlined in the cancellation policy.

 

CHANGES AND REDUCTIONS:

We understand that wedding planning evolves, and we’re happy to accommodate design changes as your guest count and layout take shape.

  • Changes to your floral design may be made up to 30 days before the wedding. After this point, all decisions are final.
  • Reductions to the scope of the contract are permitted up to 10% of the floral and décor subtotal (before taxes and fees), but not below our agreed-upon minimum.
  • No changes will be accepted within 30 days of the event.
  • All changes must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval by Wildflowers in the Wind.

 

SUBSTITUTIONS:

As with all things in nature, flowers are subject to seasonal availability, growing conditions, and shipping logistics that may occasionally affect what is available for your event. At Wildflowers in the Wind, we source only premium blooms from trusted growers and strive to provide the freshest, highest-quality flowers possible.

In the event of unforeseen issues such as weather delays or supply shortages, we reserve the right to make floral substitutions. If we must substitute, we promise to do so with your vision, color palette, and overall design in mind. Our goal is always to maintain the style and spirit of your original proposal.

Please carefully review your floral worksheet and proposal to ensure your preferences are accurately reflected. We are committed to capturing your vision beautifully, even when substitutions are necessary.

 

RENTALS:

If your wedding includes post-event breakdown services, any flowers not collected by the client at that time will be discarded unless prior arrangements have been made.

We encourage guests to take home flowers; however, please note that containers designated as rentals must be returned immediately following the event. If rental items (such as vases or vessels) are not returned, or are returned broken or damaged, the client will be billed the full replacement cost of those items.

If you provide your own containers or decorative items for use in arrangements, we will handle them with the utmost care. However, Wildflowers in the Wind is not liable for any damage that may occur to client-provided items at any time during the preparation, setup, or breakdown process.

 

EXCLUSIVITY:

We are honored to be your florist! By signing this agreement, you acknowledge that Wildflowers in the Wind will serve as the sole and exclusive provider of fresh and/or artificial floral arrangements for your wedding.

No other individual or business—professional or otherwise—may supply floral products for your event, including the wedding ceremony and any related reception.

Exceptions may be granted only at the discretion of Wildflowers in the Wind and must be discussed and approved in advance.

 

ADDITIONS:

  • We highly recommend wedding insurance to all our clients for peace of mind in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
  • Any inspiration images included in your proposal are meant to guide our design process, but please note they do not guarantee exact replication. Every arrangement is a custom creation, thoughtfully crafted in our signature style and artistic interpretation.
  • We may share photos of your wedding flowers—including images of your venue, guests, or you—on our website and social media for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your images shared, please let us know in advance.

LIABILITY:

Wildflowers in the Wind is not responsible for any damage to flowers or arrangements after delivery and setup. Once in the client’s care, the client assumes responsibility for maintaining the flowers in a cool and appropriate environment to preserve freshness and quality.

 

Returns

Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we cannot accept returns once an arrangement has been delivered or picked up.
